This past month, I got to help out my friends at the Media Collaborative with their new website. They’re a team of great designers specializing in identity, packaging, illustrations, and environments. They’re also really awesome guys and former officemates. It’s a pretty simple portfolio site, but I think it came off really well visually, and does a good job of drawing attention to the work itself. One of the big challenges with this one was getting the flash-front end to talk to the content management system. I ended up writing a custom drupal module to handle the communication, which was much easier than I thought it would be. I can’t really say enough about Drupal, it’s just a great CMS platform that works well in so many different settings. It was a really fun learning experience.
